We are a cultural establishment nestled in Ashokenagar, a quaint suburban town in West Bengal. Our inception dates back to August 18, 2018, although due to the disruptive impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, our official registration was postponed until March 17, 2021. Undeterred by these challenges, we’ve cultivated a thriving haven for artistic expression known as the “Antaheen Intimate Space & Art Gallery.” Within our confines, we’ve carefully nurtured an intimate theatre setting that echoes with creativity and an art gallery that serves as a visual feast for the senses. Complementing these spaces is our modest yet charming book stall christened the “Antaheen Boighar.”

Intimate Space & Art Gallery
Antaheen Intimate Space offers a generously sized performance area measuring 25 by 18 feet, complete with a 5 by 10 feet greenroom and makeup room. The performance space itself is 12 by 18 feet, inclusive of an exit, while the audience seating section spans 13 by 18 feet. A compact 4 by 4.5 feet control room is on hand. The venue supplies two movable wings, a flexible black curtain for background, and 40 lights, with a capacity to use 20 simultaneously. Equipment includes two 6-channel consoles, a digital LED console, a four-channel mixer, an amplifier, and two mid-sized Ahuja sound speakers. Additionally, generator and microphone rentals are available. Currently, we regularly host theatrical workshops, programs, and performances. In addition to our own events, others also rent our space for their theater productions.
