Ashoknagar Antaheen Kalakhetra organized the Sahajia Theatre Workshop from December 27th to 31st. The workshop involved 15 participants and was guided by Prabir Guha, a Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee and director of Alternative Living Theatre. The workshop’s core philosophy, as provided by Prabir Guha, emphasized an open and self-discovery-oriented approach to theatre. It aimed to combine simplicity with artistic elements, enabling direct engagement with the masses. The concept highlighted the significance of easy pathways to connect with audiences and encouraged a theatre style that resonated with the general public while retaining its artistic essence. Through this workshop, participants were exposed to a unique perspective on theatre, aligning with the belief that theatre should both reflect and touch the lives of everyday people.
