The world of theatre suffered a significant loss with the untimely passing of Prasenjit Bardhan, an eminent and beloved theatre artist. His charismatic presence and talent resonated with people from all walks of life, making him an inspiration to many. His early departure left a void in the theatre industry, but his memory and legacy continue to thrive.

In commemoration of Prasenjit Bardhan’s life and contributions, Shyambazar Natyacharcha Kendra initiated the program “Bhalobashar Manusher Swapnopuran”. This initiative aimed to honour his memory and stand in solidarity with his family, providing a platform for the community to come together and celebrate his artistic journey.

On the 4th and 5th of February 2023, Antaheen Kalaskhetra actively collaborated with Shyambazar Natyacharcha Kendra to mark this significant date. The event witnessed the participation of seven teams and a school, with a full house audience eager to pay their respects and celebrate the legacy of Prasenjit Bardhan.

Through these performances and shared moments, participants and attendees alike paid heartfelt tribute to the genius of Prasenjit Bardhan. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were touched by his artistry, and this program served as a testament to the enduring impact he had on the world of theatre and the lives he touched.
