Set against the backdrop of historical political intricacies and intricate ethical quandaries entrenched in a bygone era, the play’s narrative unfolds. This milieu paints a picture of a time where the common populace functioned as mere pawns, manipulated and exploited within the elaborate chessboard of political power dynamics. Rooted in Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s narrative titled “Bish Kanya”, the play delves into a historical tapestry that reverberates across the annals of time.
